Comfort Home AFH  is licensed by Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. The Home meets the Washington State requirements and all our staff undergoes complete background check before they can work with our residents.

 

Comfort Home is licensed for 6 beds and has private and semiprivate rooms.

Comfort Home offers quality care in an intimate safe and loving family environment while maintaining comfort, dignity and independence. With experienced around the clock caregivers the home is suitable for all level of care to the end of life.

 

We monitor residents at night. We have a primary care physician available (House Doctor) who will make house calls and accept Medicare and Medicaid. Register Nurse on call and consultant, CNAs and NARs on staff.

 

The provider has worked as Certified Nursing Assistant in different Nursing Homes in United States of America and Germany. She has more than twelve years combined experience providing care giving services for the community in a variety of settings, assisting people of different ages, gender, and ethnic background.

 

The staff at Comfort Home is trained and specialized in Dementia / Alzheimer, Mental Health Care, Hospice / End of Life, Diabetes, Parkinson’s Care, Incontinence Care, Medication Management, Careful attention to special needs and Dev. Disabilities.

 

The residents at Comfort Home come from the surrounding communities; Mercer Island, Kirkland, Redmond, Seattle, Issaquah, Newcastle, Sammamish and Renton. They come from their own homes, retirement communities, assisted living, rehab facilities, nursing homes and other similar senior/elder care facilities.
